In the game it provides maximum resource storage and extends supply range for military units operating far from base — tanks and artillery that run dry mid-offensive become expensive pillboxes. Build it before your major armored offensives begin, position it just behind your forward defense line, and ring it with flak guns; every enemy air force will target it first.
