War Chariot I
Kriegsstreitwagen I
Bronze Age Light CavalrySpecialHero capable
The chariot was the shock weapon of New Kingdom Egypt's armies - a light, two-wheeled vehicle of wood and leather drawn by two fast horses and crewed by a driver and an archer. At Megiddo and Kadesh, hundreds of these cars decided the battle: they swept around enemy flanks, showered packed formations with arrows and wheeled away before the foe could react. Fast and mobile, but fragile against spearmen and broken ground - a weapon for the open plain. The Bronze Age variant: fast and lethal against infantry in the open field.
