B-29 II

The B-50, introduced from 1947, looked nearly identical to the B-29 from the outside but was almost entirely redesigned: more powerful engines, a taller and stronger tail fin, and a much lighter aluminum airframe substantially increased range and payload. In 1949 a B-50 completed the first non-stop flight around the world, supported by aerial refueling. In the game it carries more bombs per strike and flies farther than the B-29, with similar vulnerability to concentrated fighter attacks.
