Bronze Age Siege Workshop
When Bronze Age armies first encountered walled cities — Jericho, Uruk, Troy — raw courage proved insufficient. The answer was engineering: torsion catapults, battering rams, siege towers and ballistae, all conceived and built in dedicated workshops. This building replicates that leap in military thinking. It produces the era's earliest throwing machines and siege devices, capable of breaking walls that infantry assaults cannot scratch. Constructing it signals a shift from raiding to conquest — you are no longer content to plunder the fields outside an enemy city; you intend to take the city itself. Place the siege workshop behind your front line and allow it time to manufacture; a siege train deployed alongside your main force multiplies your attacking power enormously.
