Colonial Fortress

Modelled on the bastion forts of the colonial era — low, thick ramparts that swallow cannonballs instead of shattering, with projecting corner bastions for flanking fire. Three musket embrasures cover the glacis while a muzzle-loading gun above the gate lays direct fire on attackers and ships. In game the colonial fortress is the first work to combine firearm and cannon defence in one building.
