The Jagdtiger, built in small numbers from 1944, used the Tiger chassis for a casemate tank destroyer mounting the most powerful anti-tank gun fitted to any production armored vehicle of the Second World War: a 12.8 cm piece capable of destroying almost any opposing vehicle at almost any combat range. At over 70 tons and without a rotating turret, it was barely maneuverable and depended entirely on a good firing position with a clear field of fire. In the game it is the strongest stage of the Tiger line: devastating firepower and massive armor, but the slowest unit in the entire line — strongest when it never has to move.
