Tiger II
Modern Age Heavy CavalrySpecialHero capable
The 1944 Tiger II replaced its predecessor's vertical armor with steeply sloped plates in the Soviet style and mounted the even more powerful 8.8 cm KwK 43 L/71 with a markedly higher muzzle velocity. On paper it was the most powerful production armored vehicle of the war — in practice, at over 68 tons, most bridges couldn't bear its weight and its engine and transmission were chronically overstressed. In the game the King Tiger hits harder and survives more punishment than the Tiger I, but stays slow and costly to field — most effective in prepared defensive positions rather than a fast advance.
