With the rise of the Kingdom of Kush, Nubia moved beyond supplying archers to others and became the dominant military power along the upper Nile in its own right — eventually conquering Egypt and founding its Twenty-fifth Dynasty. Kushite archers now fought in independent, disciplined formations equipped with improved bronze arrowheads and light leather armor that offered some protection without compromising the mobility that made archers effective. In the game this archer hits harder and survives more than his predecessor, with unchanged mobility.
