Bismarck I

Bismarck was a German battleship of the Second World War and, when commissioned in 1940, one of the largest and heaviest warships in Europe. The main battery comprised eight 38 cm guns in four twin turrets, protected by extensive belt and deck armor. In May 1941 Bismarck sank the British battlecruiser HMS Hood in the Denmark Strait, but was hunted down and sunk after a major naval pursuit. In the game, Bismarck I represents the historical baseline configuration: an expensive and durable battleship whose eight heavy guns, long range, and anti-aircraft battery deliver powerful salvos against enemy fleets and coastal targets.
