At the dawn of the twentieth century, Count Zeppelin's rigid airships drifted over Lake Constance and opened an entirely new dimension of warfare. The Airship Hangar captures that electrifying moment: it shelters, services, and deploys the Industrialization Age's first aerial fleet — lumbering zeppelins capable of reconnaissance and bombing alongside nimble biplanes that duel above the trenches. These machines are fragile by later standards but psychologically devastating to enemies who have never faced attack from above.
