Voxel RTS
A voxel RTS that plays like a strategy game
A voxel RTS with a classic real-time strategy core: block-based building, destructible terrain, ten ages of units. Playable demo on Steam.
Blocks are not the gimmick here — they are the terrain, the walls and the reason artillery matters.
Voxels in a strategy game, not a sandbox
Most voxel games are sandboxes seen through one pair of eyes. Voxel Dynasties is a real-time strategy game seen from above, and the blocks exist to answer strategic questions: where can units walk, what can they see, and what does it cost to take this position?
The rules are deliberately small
- Anything taller than a single block stops a unit. That is what makes walls, ridges and gatehouses worth building.
- Blocks are placed upward; destroyed terrain collapses downward. No floating structures, no tunnels under a base.
- Walls, buildings and terrain take damage and disappear block by block. Artillery and explosives reshape a battlefield permanently.
Underneath it is a classic RTS
Economy, population limits, unit counters, upgrades, ten ages of progression. If you have played Age of Empires or Empire Earth you already know the grammar — see the encyclopedia for every unit and its numbers.
